For years, the couple had dreamed to have a house with character—a house with history and style that they could make their own. And finally, when she chanced to see her dream house, she knew her partner had found it-the old charming house with so much more potential. Even though the house was in a lot of disrepair, they welcomed the challenge of turning it into their dream space. The house has this hidden characteristic full of charm and history, and its old-world features made them feel as if they were in part becoming part of something.
On worn floors, faded wallpaper, and old fixtures, they visualized how they could create their cozy and inviting space preserving all of the house’s historical elements. For this couple, renovating wasn’t just to update but to give the house a new life in respect of what it used to be. Every room has such big opportunity, and they simply cannot wait to get into work with what they have imagined.
Equipped with blueprints, design inspirations, and the urge for adventure, they set forth renovating with open arms and hands. They knew this was going to be quite a journey-cum-hard work and lots of unexpected setbacks along the way.
