The Baby’s Birth
The day finally arrived when the soldier’s wife went into labor. The family sprang into action with the soldier driving to the hospital while reassuring his wife and the children staying with their grandparents. Anticipation was mixed with emotions: excitement and nervousness.
Hours later, the baby was born-a perfect, radiant addition to the family. For the first time, a soldier could hold his newborn in his arms, and one’s heart swelled with a love so overpowering that tears welled in his eyes. The wife’s smile reflected not only her, but both of them, as they realized that now their family was complete.
The next day, the children went to see the sibling. It was their first meeting with their sibling, full of wonder in their eyes and gentle touches. Warming up the room, it reminded me of pure magic as it had been months of expectation and dreaming.
