A Friendship Emerges
Clara’s family and Emily’s family exchanged letters after this emotional reunion. Clara began frequenting the house of Emily, carrying small gift items and relaying stories of her life. Emily loved the adventures of Clara and gained another friend in the benevolent woman who had found her balloon.
