Emily’s Curiosity Grows
This experience actually sparked a new interest in storytelling for Emily. She began to write letters and short stories as she envisioned what journeys her words might embark if she let them out into the world. Her parents were fully supportive of this; she began keeping a journal to write down her dreams and ideas.

Her teachers at school noted even that she was gaining more and more self-confidence in school. She began participating more in class, telling her classmates stories, and even winning a competition for creative writing. Success alone was enough to change things for a family with pride and not so little acts of courage that make all the difference.
That journey of the balloon had now become a bedtime story in the household of Emily, full of hope and magic from connections. And this made her believe in the power of her words and the idea that kindness could travel much farther than what the eye can see.
