Continued Good Deed Trail
This was the story of the puppies that inspired the community to continue doing good deeds even after their reunification. Businesses in the locality began to support the shelter by participating in adoption fairs and holding events where fundraising was done. Awareness through Tom’s story also increased adoptions as several families decided to adopt an animal in need for a home.

The most conspicuous function was a charity marathon led by a local running club. People participated in the event for the shelter, with quite a number coming with the adopted pets. The marathon provided a way through which the sense of community produced by the puppies’ story could expand because they raised a considerable amount of money.
The other towns started contacting the community, asking how they could set up their own animal welfare efforts. As for the puppies, their travel rescued them from potential killings but emboldened a wider social movement of compassion and awareness.
