He reached his village bursting with excitement to share his story. He called together all family members and friends, narrating every detail of his adventure. The villagers listened in awe, hanging on to his every word.
Many people doubted his story, deeming him only a fisherman spinning tales. Others believed him out of the exaggerated description of the light-emitting cave and strange signs there in it. The tale spread like wildfire in the small fishing village.
However much he was tempted, he decided not to divulge the location of the cave. He was inclined to keep it secret in view of his sense of responsibility toward the cave, where treasures lay buried under stones and dust. That place was sacred; they needed to be kept so.
