To Love Until Death
He loved her. He would miss her. And with those feelings, he would find ways to honor her memory through action.
He chose to support causes important to her as a way of paying tribute to her legacy. She was particularly passionate about education and literacy, so he volunteered at the local library and made donations toward various children’s learning programs.
This was the manner in which he could channel his grief in a positive direction: through acts of service. Deep within him was the feeling that, somehow, he was continuing to uphold the things that mattered to her. For her, life was full of acts of kindness and compassion and the desire was to ensure that this, too, came out as something reflected in his own actions.
Giving back to the community could be his rebirth. He felt that although her body was gone, yet every decision he made and in the lives he touched lived on with the impact she made in life.
