Rebuilding Relationships
One of Henry’s biggest regrets was losing touch with his family. His struggles with homelessness had created a rift that seemed impossible to bridge. But as he regained stability, he found the courage to reach out.

Henry made contact with his sister, who had been concerned about him for years thanks to the efforts of shelter staff. The meeting was highly emotional, with tears and apologies in abundance. She welcomed him back into her life and offered support as he continued his journey.
Being reunited with his family reminded Henry of his purpose in life. He remembers that love and community had been the lacking parts of his life for such a long time.
