A Uniquely Experiential Bathroom
One of the most striking areas in this cave house is the bathroom, which fuses luxury with raw textures from the natural stone. Its walls, as if the rock has given birth to them, have an intimate, private feel, almost like being carved out of earth. Given that it was aimed to be a calming, spa-like atmosphere, the builder took care in introducing soft lighting, smooth stone basins, and rainwater showerheads.
It is rather water-conservative, with low-flow faucets and showerheads that give a full feel but use not much water at all. The stone tub speaks for itself, molded from the rock, making it seem to be one whole chunk of organically natural-looking seamless stone. This unique feature brings about a sense of class but reminds one of the natural world through connection.
The construction team designed and transformed this bathroom into a resting and reflective place by accepting the rock’s natural formations and developing them with modernistic installations. This space demonstrates the essence of the cave home: comfort, sustainability, and respect for the surroundings.
