Future Generations Changed
The junior generation were more curious to know behind the photo. All of them reminded themselves of working to preserve their history. Emma’s nieces and nephews became keen participants in genealogy projects at family level, inquiring and recording findings for future generations.
It also, on its own, acted as an excellent teaching tool. It demonstrated the true meaning of honesty, struggle, and even sympathy in that families can conquer issues and emerge much stronger on the other side. “The parents used it as a way to teach the little ones forgiveness and about the complexity of human relationships.”.
With the inclusion of the generation that came after her, Emma made sure that the family legacy would never disappear into the void. This photograph was no longer to be regarded as something to be relegated to the graveyard of history but rather as the bridge of the future.
