Future Possibilities
A photo mystery finally unraveled, Emma and her family shifted their gaze forward. They promised themselves to preserve their history by digitizing their family documents, letters, and photographs. The project became a collaborative effort in the sense that each member of the family brought pieces of the jigsaw puzzle.
This preserved history brought along with it some new traditions for the family. Every year was now a mere event for sharing updates, setting milestones, and reflecting on the shared journey. These sessions were a sea of laughter, great stories, and a renewed sense of connection.
Emma also started working on writing a memoir about her experience, hoping that through it, others will discover their family history. “Her story tells us that even seemingly unrelated discoveries are possible and ultimately, greater in ending,” it was learned.
