Moving Ahead with Hope
Pain would always be there, but time almost managed to creep him forward with hope. And then that pain dissipated into something much deeper: appreciation for life and love. He learned that he could be in the present while still cherishing what used to be, and that love never really died. It had been agonizingly painful yet very enlightening to find that his wife had aspirations, dreaming which were taken from him, but he moved out of it and became stronger.

The husband further found that hope was not to be forgotten over the past but finding meaning in it, hence he learned to live how the woman he loved wanted him to live-the good times and the bad ones after she was gone. His life had changed forever, but he had learned to accept change as part of life. He had discovered that in the depth of grief and loss, some healing, growth, and indeed hope might occur.
He realized that love-a love in all its aspects-would always be the enduring testament of the life of his wife, inspiring him forward.
