Making His Own Music
Inspited by the stories, and legacy he had inherited, the young man started penning his own songs. He poured his heart out in the compositions, drawing from experiences with the guitar and people that came his way during the journey. The music had to reflect his journey as well as Jack’s influence while paying homage to tradition blended through a modern twist uniquely his.
His songs were really full of connectivity, legacy, and community as instilled in him through having personified by Jack. Thus, he could express his feelings through his written music; he was able to enjoy taking the story of Jack to his new audience and bear the burden of passing on his work for generations of those after him. He spent hours going over each song, perfecting the melody while paying homage to the legacy of the guitar as he gave them a piece of himself.
When he performs his songs for the very first time on that stage, he is apprehensive and unsure of what people might think of him. In contrast, the crowds received the artist with full backing of the crowd, such performances dramatically reflected authenticity and emotion in his sound. These performances had to be a watershed since he has now started to step out from the shadows of Jack when he discovers his voice, voice as an artist.
